Conference EUNIS-CZ
University in the Era of Artificial Intelligence
Elanor a.s. is a proud member of EUNIS-CZ (European University Information System - an independent association of legal entities). The association includes all public universities, selected private schools, the Academy of Sciences, and companies active in the field of information systems.
From May 27-29, 2024, we attended the Main Conference titled "University in the Era of Artificial Intelligence," held in Špindlerův Mlýn.
Artificial Intelligence in Universities
In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has moved from research and specialized study programs into everyday life at universities. Existing IT services are now enhanced with AI tools, offering new and interesting opportunities. AI has changed the approach of students and educators to teaching, requiring new ways of assigning and evaluating tasks. We discussed the question: Will artificial intelligence dominate university life? Will it be a good servant or a bad master?
Modern Identity Management
Another important topic of the conference was modern identity management. While the identification and verification of students and employees is common practice, the question remains how to manage other groups of people on campus and in information systems.
Platform for New Technologies and Experience Sharing
The EUNIS-CZ conference is held annually as a platform for presenting new technologies and exchanging experiences from their implementation. The main thematic areas were:
- Artificial Intelligence and University Systems
